Emergencies are always given first priority. Pets are seen by appointment. Walk-ins will be seen at an additional charge and as time permits in between scheduled appointments.
EMERGENCY SERVICE AVAILABLE AFTER HOURS AND ON HOLIDAYS
In May of 2009, the West Central Ohio Veterinary Emergency Service (WCOVES) opened to offer a fully staffed after hours emergency hospital for Lima, Ohio and the surrounding communities. It is open Monday thru Thursday from 6pm until 8am the next morning and Friday from 6pm until the following Monday at 8am. It is also open on all holidays when other veterinary clinics are closed.
It is located at 3077 Harding Highway, Lima Ohio, which is a half mile east of the fairgrounds and across from Memorial Cemetery. You do not have to call first, but if you do it will allow them to be prepared for you when you arrive. The phone number for WCOVES is 419-221-0269.
